This hardcover book of 512 color pages with great illustrations presents the work of Charlotte Perriand. Charlotte Perriand is one of the most outstanding figures of 20th century design. Alongside its contemporary Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret she designed countless pieces, including the famous Rocking lounger , considered masterpieces of furniture.
The complete work of Charlotte Perriand is divided into four volumes. This richly illustrated reference set (more than 5000 drawings and photographs) sheds light on a very large number of innovations and allows embracing precisely the singular course of this extraordinary creative.
The first volume covers the period from 1903 to 1940 and recalls the early years of Charlotte Perriand: education, discovery of photography, the first development projects and first furniture.
